Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ICF is a global advisory and technology services provider, and they are seeking a Capacity Development Manager to work on a national technical assistance project aimed at providing legal services for unaccompanied children. The role involves developing training materials and strategies to enhance the skills of legal service practitioners in immigration law. Responsibilities • Set the vision for all capacity development for the network of partners and legal service providers • Provide oversight and guidance to the team of instructional designers, content developers, community of practice specialists, Writers, editors, and subject matter experts. • Lead and implement strategies related to legal services training and technical assistance, including a comprehensive training plan. Ensure all learning and development deliverables are on time and of high quality. • Assure application of the latest innovations in adult learning theories and AI to create engaging and interactive learning materials. • Support cross-team efforts to identify knowledge gaps and training and technical assistance needs. • Ensure that all staff orientation training materials are current and designed to best support the learning needs of incoming staff. • Oversee product development related to legal services training and technical assistance. • Coordinate all work with SMEs and partners in delivering training and technical assistance services. • Work with the Communication Lead to develop all strategies related to the broad internal and external communication needs of the project. • Engage with the technology team to support the intersection of training efforts and the Learning platforms. Skills • BA with 7+ years experience or Masters with 4+ years experience managing a task or service area including personnel and deliverables in a project or contract environment • A minimum of 3 years demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder and partner relationships, including balancing multiple perspectives/needs, for capacity building projects. • A minimum of 3 years experience working with national training and technical assistance to develop the capacity of particular subject matter area or profession • Solid team builder and team player with proven ability to manage competing priorities, perspectives and stakeholder needs. • Exceptional project management skills, with a focus on TA project management. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. • Ability to deal effectively with rapid change and to prioritize work quickly in response to changing needs. • Ability to promote and contribute to an equitable and inclusive organizational culture and environment. • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. • Experience in project management, and instructional design • Education and/or experience in the application of race equity, diversity, and inclusion of social justice strategies in human service settings. • Working knowledge of the refugee, immigrant, and asylee challenges. • Experience working for a refugee program.
