Bachelor's degree (engineering preferred), 7-10 years project management experience, 5-7 years manufacturing experience, and applications engineering background.
Summary The Project Manageroversees all phases of assigned commercial equipment projects—from order receipt through design, procurement, fabrication, delivery, installation, startup, and warranty closeout. This role is responsible for schedule development, resource coordination, progress oversight, financial accuracy, and customer communication to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality expectations. Key Duties & Responsibilities • Work safely and actively support all organizational safety programs • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements • Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives addressing project execution challenges • Develop project objectives, priorities, budgets, schedules, and resource plans with minimal supervision • Review customer contracts, cost estimates, and technical specifications; resolve discrepancies in scope, cost, or scheduling • Communicate project scope to all internal and external stakeholders • Create and maintain project initiation documents • Develop detailed project schedules with key milestones and resource needs • Direct preparation of engineering drawings and technical specifications; review all documents for compliance with scope • Ensure timely submission of all deliverables to customers and fabricators • Collaborate with sales, finance, engineering, purchasing, quality, operations, field service, and logistics teams • Conduct project team meetings as needed • Manage project documentation, including submittals, O&M manuals, and close-out materials • Issue purchase requisitions and approve goods receipts for accurate cost and revenue recognition • Ensure fair procurement practices and monitor supplier adherence to specifications, schedules, and scope • Travel to vendor or contractor locations as necessary to monitor or expedite work • Establish and maintain project budgets and project files • Issue invoicing instructions • Track project costs and revenue recognition (including ASC 606 or percentage-of-completion practices) • Provide regular status updates, cost reports, and financial forecasts • Identify and assess remaining asset value at project completion • Assist sales prior to order award by assembling project cost estimates and proposals • Review contract terms, conditions, and scope with sales before contract finalization • Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and conferences as appropriate • Travel to customer sites to address issues and support project success • Resolve warranty-related matters through the warranty period Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred) or equivalent education • 2–3 years of experience preparing cost estimates and proposals for large equipment or complex projects • 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment • 7–10 years of project management experience • Applications engineering experience in technical or process-related industries • Background working with complex equipment systems or engineered-to-order projects Pay: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Health insurance • Paid time off Work Location: In person
