Company Overview: The Logistics Associate at The Home Depot plays a crucial part in keeping stores stocked and customer-ready every day. This role helps drive store operations by managing freight flow, ensuring accurate inventory, confirming pricing, and supporting store preparedness while maintaining strict safety standards. Role and Responsibilities: In this position, you will be responsible for unloading, stocking, organizing, and moving freight to ensure a safe and efficient store environment. You will also provide customer support during freight tasks and work closely with team leads to meet operational goals. • Unload merchandise from scheduled freight deliveries. • Place products on shelves, displays, and promotional areas. • Transport freight from receiving to the sales floor or storage locations. • Update and maintain accurate inventory counts and product details. • Check that signage and pricing labels are correct and clearly visible. • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment (if certified). • Follow all safety and loss prevention guidelines. • Assist customers politely while performing freight duties. • Maintain organization and cleanliness in receiving and freight areas. • Collaborate with Freight Team Leads and store management to achieve stocking and readiness targets.
