About Us Home Care Nurses America Inc. (HCNA) provides non-medical home care to seniors and individuals wanting to remain independent, and labour hire staffing solutions for healthcare facilities. We are seeking experienced Care Coordinators to join us as independent subcontractors (1099) working remotely. Role Summary Manage home care scheduling and labour hire requests, allocate nurses and caregivers to clients and facilities, support field staff, and maintain compliance and service quality. Key Duties Take intake calls and complete non-clinical service assessments for new home care clients. Allocate and fill labour hire requests for hospitals, aged-care, and clinics. Schedule and manage home care caregivers (companions, PCAs, HHAs). Monitor and adjust rosters; handle urgent changes. Provide real-time support to field staff. Keep meticulous records to meet Arizona, Massachusetts, and Michigan regulations. Communicate clearly with families, caregivers, and facilities. Contractor Terms Independent contractor (1099) — responsible for own taxes, insurance, and equipment. Fortnightly payments issued upon approved invoicing. Experience in staffing, scheduling, or care coordination (home care or healthcare staffing). Excellent communication, ability to stay calm under pressure. Computer savvy (scheduling platforms, EMR, cloud tools). Attention to detail and strong follow-through. Knowledge of state non-medical home care rules (AZ, MA, MI) a plus. Mandatory Certifications & Training CPR & First Aid certification (adult & infant). HIPAA privacy & security training. OSHA Infection Control & Standard Precautions. State-specific orientation/training (AZ ADHS, MA HCA Council, MI Medicaid if applicable).
