Full Description

About Us Home Care Nurses America Inc. (HCNA) provides compassionate non-medical home care to seniors and individuals who want to remain independent, as well as labour hire staffing solutions to healthcare facilities. We’re seeking a meticulous, detail-oriented Care Coordinator to work from home and help us deliver exceptional service to both home care clients and partner facilities. Role Summary As a key member of our coordination team, you will manage home care scheduling and labour hire allocation. You’ll match caregivers and nurses to the right clients or facilities, support field staff daily, and keep operations running smoothly — all while helping us achieve our mission-driven work improving care for seniors and supporting healthcare facilities and individuals. Key Duties Take intake calls and complete non-clinical service assessments for new home care clients. Allocate and fill labour hire requests from hospitals, aged-care facilities, and clinics by matching available RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Schedule and manage home care caregivers (companions, PCAs, HHAs) to ensure skill and availability match client needs. Monitor and update daily rosters; respond quickly to last-minute changes. Provide real-time support to field staff (caregivers and nurses) during shifts. Maintain accurate, detailed documentation to comply with Arizona, Massachusetts, and Michigan regulations. Communicate professionally with families, caregivers, and facility contacts to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction. Contribute to a team-oriented, fast-paced environment by collaborating with fellow coordinators and management. Qualifications Experience in staffing, scheduling, or care coordination (home care or healthcare labour hire strongly preferred). Excellent communication skills — clear, professional, and empathetic. Proven ability to stay calm and organized under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Computer proficiency (scheduling software, CRM/ATS, EMR systems, cloud-based tools). Meticulous attention to detail and strong follow-through. Knowledge of state non-medical home care rules (AZ, MA, MI) a plus (training provided). All candidates must pass applicable background checks: Arizona Level I Fingerprint Clearance, Massachusetts CORI, and Michigan ICHAT. What We Offer Work from home with supportive team culture. Competitive hourly or salaried pay (DOE). Growth opportunities as our national home care & staffing services expand. Mission-driven work improving care for seniors and supporting healthcare facilities and individuals. Home Care Nurses America Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
