Role Overview The Storeroom Attendant ensures smooth flow of materials into, within, and out of the storeroom by accurately receiving, stocking, issuing, and returning parts. This role maintains inventory integrity through systematic labeling, cycle counting, and record-keeping. The Attendant also supports plant operations by replenishing remote stores, delivering parts, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. Attention to detail, organization, and adherence to safety and 5S standards are essential. Core Responsibilities • Goods Receipts • Receiving and parts put-away • Bin labeling • Issuances and Returns • Goods issuances and returns • Remote storeroom replenishment • Parts delivery within plant • Inventory Management • Inventory stocking and reordering • Inventory labeling • Cycle counting • Inventory moving • Housekeeping and System Maintenance • Storeroom housekeeping and adherence to 5S • Recommended Skills and Competencies • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities • Basic computer literacy • Attention to detail for accurate counting and labeling • Good communication skills for interdepartmental coordination • Physical stamina for lifting, moving, and stocking parts GED is acceptable, HS diploma is preferred
