Overview We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare for children of various ages. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing environment, engaging children in educational and recreational activities, and supporting their developmental needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess relevant experience, and demonstrate excellent caregiving skills. Responsibilities • Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times during scheduled hours • Prepare and serve meals or snacks appropriate for children's dietary needs • Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including play, reading, and educational exercises • Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and nap times • Support children's social and emotional development through positive interaction • Administer basic first aid when necessary and handle minor injuries promptly • Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities, behavior, and needs • Maintain a clean and organized environment in the child's care area • Adapt to the individual needs of children with disabilities or special requirements when applicable Requirements • Prior experience with childcare, babysitting, nannying, daycare, or teaching is highly preferred • Knowledge of infant care, toddler care, and working with children with disabilities is a plus • Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification required if not already held • Compassionate, patient, reliable, and attentive to detail • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and children • Experience with caregiving for children of various ages and developmental stages is advantageous This position provides an opportunity to contribute positively to children's lives through dedicated caregiving and nurturing support.
