High school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of job-specific experience or relevant certification, and BLS and Medical Assistant certification within specified timeframes.
Sign-on-bonus $2,500 Full Time - Days 8:30AM-5:00PM - M-F no weekends or holidays General Summary • Assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider (Physician or Advanced Practice Provider). • Responsibilities: Assists with treatments ordered by provider as supervised by provider or registered nurse. Performs select clinical duties. • Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. • Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. • Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing • Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies. Assists with maintaining a clean and order environment. • May document the provider's encounter with patients. • Lists all proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions, as indicated by the provider. • Transcribes patient orders including, but not limited to, laboratory tests, radiology tests and medications. Certification/Licences Required • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted • Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Any issuing authority accepted Education/Experience Required • High School diploma equivalency. 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
