Senior Manager, Product Marketing Department: Marketing Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Remote, United States Description Hazelcast is seeking a talented and technically adept Senior Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to join our dynamic marketing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling messaging, developing impactful technical content, and enabling our sales teams to effectively position and sell the Hazelcast Platform. You will translate complex technical features into clear business value propositions for our target audiences, including developers, architects, and technology leaders. WHAT YOU’LL DO Technical Collateral Development: Develop high-quality, technically accurate marketing collateral, including white papers, technical briefs, datasheets, solution guides, case studies, presentations, website copy, and blog posts. Translate complex technical concepts related to distributed caching, in-memory data grids, stream processing, and distributed computing into clear, concise, and compelling value propositions. Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to understand new features, use cases, and technical differentiators. Tailor content for various audiences, from highly technical practitioners (developers, architects) to technology decision-makers. Sales Training & Enablement: Develop and deliver comprehensive sales training materials and programs focused on the Hazelcast Platform, including product positioning, key features/benefits, competitive landscape, and target use cases. Create sales tools such as battle cards, sales plays, presentation decks, and objection handling guides. Conduct regular training sessions (webinars, and video recordings) for global sales teams (Sales Reps, Sales Engineers). Gather feedback from sales to continuously improve enablement materials and strategies. Support the sales team with specific deals and customer conversations as needed, acting as a subject matter expert. Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities within the real-time data, distributed systems, caching, and stream processing space. Use market insights to inform messaging, content strategy, and sales enablement efforts. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Developer Relations, and the broader Marketing team to ensure alignment and achieve shared goals. WHAT YOU HAVE 5-7+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or a related role within the B2B software industry. Proven ability to understand complex technical concepts (e.g., distributed systems, databases, middleware, cloud infrastructure, data streaming) and translate them into clear, compelling business value. Demonstrated experience creating high-quality technical marketing content (writing samples will be requested). Experience developing and delivering effective sales training and enablement materials. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize market information. Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
