Hardy Co works in conjunction with businesses on their hiring and development needs. The company we represent is currently interviewing for an Entry Level Account Manager in their business development and sales department. As an Account Manager, you will act as the go-between for the client and your customer portfolio. And once proficient in sales, you will move into a Small Business Advisor role. Additionally, this company is a tight-knit team that thrives on building each other up! The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys a team environment, has a sportsmanship mentality, an impeccable work ethic, and strives to exceed goals. Entry Level Account Manager Responsibilities: • Engage with customers, in-person, in a professional, friendly manner • Operates as the point of contact for your customer portfolio on behalf of various clients • Generate sales among customer accounts • Answer customer inquiries and identify new business opportunities • Work with the team on sales goals and business development needs Skills of the ideal Entry Level Account Manager: • Strong interpersonal skills • Excellent communication skills • Good negotiation skills • Leadership experience • Motivated and goal-oriented • BS Degree is preferred but not required with relevant work experience • Ability to work full-time and reliably commute to the office -- this is not a remote position • 0-3 years of relevant work experience (especially working with customers; restaurant and retail experience is a major plus!)
