Greet and assist students, parents, and staff; manage communications and office tasks including typing, mail distribution, and supporting school activities.
Proficient computer skills, excellent communication and customer service, ability to work with diverse groups, good typing and organizational skills, and knowledge of office procedures.
Job Summary • Greets and interacts with students, parents and staff visiting school office • Answers calls and effectively resolves issues/questions or directs to appropriate school personnel as necessary • Types lists, reports, letters, programs, school newspaper, tests, etc. • Assists with registration, testing and school activities • Operates office machines • Sorts and distributes mail as required • Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor Qualifications: • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Applications • Outstanding communications and customer service skills required. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, parents, co-workers and the public • Good typing, spelling and language skills • Excellent organizational, computation and spelling skills • Working knowledge of basic office procedure and the operation of common office machines Working Conditions:A-1, $15.60-$20.48/Hour, 10 month position Position is 3.5 hours plus additional hours per day for lunch supervision Application Procedure All applicants who wish to be considered for this position must complete the on-line application and submit a cover letter and resume.
