See company website for manufacturing capabilities www.general-doors.com POSITION OVERVIEW We are currently hiring a Production Associate II to support our production operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires experience with metal fabrication and/or carpentry skills to custom modify overhead doors to customer specifications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform quality checks and inspect finished goods for accuracy and defects • Ability to read and understand work orders and shop drawings • Utilize tools such as saws, drills and pneumatic tools to complete assemblies • Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and report major problems to maintenance • Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the manufacturing facility, adhering to all safety protocols. • Accurately pull stock from inventory • Adhere to safety procedures and company policies at all times • Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications • High school diploma or GED preferred • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus • Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch • Basic math skills • Mechanically inclined • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds • Team player with strong attention to detail and work ethic.
