Position: Analyst – Assurance & Quality Location: Remote with potential occasional on-site meetings Contract Type: Federal Government Contract (IRS) – 1-year base with additional option years Clearance: Public Trust eligibility (or ability to obtain) Employment Type: Full-time, Contract About the Role GENCO Systems is seeking an Assurance & Quality Analyst to support the IRS Microsoft 365 Contractor Support Services Project. The Analyst will provide quality oversight, documentation validation, compliance reviews, and process assurance across multiple workstreams related to Microsoft 365 modernization, security, and operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience supporting IT projects—particularly in regulated or federal environments. Key Responsibilities • Perform quality assurance reviews on project deliverables, documentation, reports, and technical artifacts. • Validate accuracy, completeness, and compliance of submitted materials in alignment with IRS standards and contractual requirements. • Support the creation, tracking, and maintenance of SOPs, checklists, quality controls, and compliance documentation. • Monitor and verify adherence to project processes, requirements, timelines, and quality thresholds. • Analyze data for completeness and defects; identify gaps and inconsistencies. • Assist with audit preparation, documentation requests, and compliance evidence gathering. • Support risk identification and help ensure corrective actions are implemented and tracked. • Participate in meetings to document decisions, verify requirements, and ensure quality processes are followed. • Work closely with technical teams, project managers, and security personnel to validate deliverable quality. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Quality Assurance, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 2–5+ years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, IT project support, or documentation analysis. • Strong understanding of process documentation, requirements verification, and quality control methodologies. • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word). • Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills. • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and manage multiple tasks. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting federal government programs or regulated environments. • Familiarity with NIST standards, ITIL processes, or quality frameworks. • Experience creating quality metrics, audit logs, or compliance reports. • Basic understanding of cloud technologies (Azure, Microsoft 365) is a plus.
