Senior Accounting Specialist We are Mid-Atlantics largest industrial pump and process equipment solutions provider. Having locations in Baltimore Maryland and Aston and York Pennsylvania. As a result of our growth, we have a need for a Senior Accounting Specialist. Our mission is to help customers succeed. What You Get To Do · Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. · Support functions including accounts payable and receivable processes, sales tax reporting, inventory accounting, fixed asset accounting, and internal accounting controls and annual audits. · Assist with external audits and tax preparation activities. · Develop & document accounting procedures & policies to ensure timely financial reporting. · Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation with accounting operations. · Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. · May perform other job duties as assigned. What We Need From You · Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. · 5+ years of experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors. · Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. · Proficiency in ERP systems and strong Excel skills. · Excellent problem solving abilities with high attention to detail.
