Job Description Summary The Sr. Director of Cloud Services sets the vision and enables the future strategy to deliver Enterprise Cloud services for GE Aerospace. In this role, you will lead a global team of Service Owners, Architects, and Engineers to design, build, and operationalize all aspects of Cloud. You will partner closely with stakeholders across Aerospace DT to develop a comprehensive view of our cloud infrastructure services and drive the future direction. Job Description Essential Responsibilities: Provide scalable, highly available and secure Cloud services, including AWS and Azure platforms Lead a global team of Service Owners, Architects, and Engineers to design, build, and operationalize all aspects of Cloud services Establish and drive the vision for the Aerospace business across Cloud Hosting. Prioritize execution with business demand. Manage across the Aerospace DT Matrix and Service Responsibility model to enable decentralized cloud services for the organization. Partner with Aerospace DT to create shared strategic roadmaps and communicate to the business for awareness and adoption working very closely with key partners like CXO communities and Cyber leadership Demonstrate very strong technical leadership and people management skills including solid communication and analytical skills with thorough understanding of successful problem definition, decomposition, estimation and resolution Build, coach, mentor, and lead a world class Cloud team Manage capacity, velocity, and backlog across multiple teams to ensure business priorities are met while optimizing customer workload resiliency based on workload tolerance and any additional requirements Create a consistent communication rhythm on organization and operations status, keeping IT leadership, workload owners and functional partners in sync with overall initiative outcomes Deliver the vision and strategy enabled by the service responsibility model that underpins AWS and Azure service delivery across Cloud. Communicate effectively both within immediate team and GE leadership Ensure the team receives consistent messages and has clear understanding of business direction, strategy and results Establish and foster a work culture at all levels that is positive, collaborative, diverse, inclusive, respectful, innovative, dynamic, with high integrity, and capable of driving positive change over sustained periods of time. Qualifications / Requirements: 10+ years managing or leading Infrastructure services Bachelor’s degree in computer science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with relevant industry gained professional experience. Relevant and recent experience leading global teams of diverse technical skills Eligibility Requirement: If working in a U.S. location, legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
