Full Description

Job Description: • Drive product qualifications and quality improvements for key performance indicators (KPIs) of suppliers • Own supplier First Article Inspection results and drive supplier compliance • Provide supplier product release direction when part approval cycles are not complete • Collaborate with Supplier Quality, Supplier Quality Operations and New Product Introduction / Management of Change teams • Understand how the team integrates with other teams outside of Quality to meet business objectives • Communicate status of First Article Inspection and Source Substantiation Plans • Provide onsite support at suppliers, approximately 15% travel • Utilize technical expertise and judgement to solve problems Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with 4 years’ experience in Engineering, Materials Science or Quality related roles) • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Engineering, Materials Science or Quality related roles • Demonstrated experience in manufacturing or supplier quality • Strong communication skills • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs • Established project management skills • Demonstrated history of problem solving, root cause and corrective action methodology, data analysis, statistical analysis and quality experience Benefits: • Healthcare benefits include medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage • Access to a Health Coach from GE Aerospace • Employee Assistance Program for 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services • GE Aerospace Retirement Savings Plan with company matching contributions • 401(k) savings plan with company retirement contributions • Access to Fidelity resources and planning consultants • Tuition assistance • Adoption assistance • Paid parental leave • Disability insurance • Life insurance • Paid time-off for vacation or illness
