ABOUT THE POSITION: The Brand Development Manager will serve as the brand owner for our key outdoor brands, (Klymit, Cascadia Vehicle Tents, Rightline Gear and WaterPORT) driving growth through helping create product strategies and management of brand marketing initiatives. This role combines the responsibilities of a traditional Brand Manager with the opportunity to support the creation and maintenance of a product roadmap to ensure brand alignment across development and marketing. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Serve as the primary driver of the brand vision and strategy for our key outdoor brands. • Drive cross-functional alignment by leading brainstorms, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions that translate big ideas into executable plans. • Develop and execute brand initiatives, product positioning, and channel marketing strategies. • Create campaign briefs, presentation materials, and go-to-market plans across multiple brands and for a variety of key customers. • Drive brand growth by supporting product innovation and launches with complimentary marketing objectives to ensure brand standards are upheld across all touchpoints and contribute to a strong, cohesive brand presence. • Conduct competitive research, industry trend audits, and cultural scanning to validate product plans and support seasonal launches. • Work cross-functionally with U.S. Product Management, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure all products align with brand identity, quality standards, and financial goals. • Partner with the VP of Product Marketing and PM teams to bring brand-right products to market. • Coordinate with Marketing to align go-to-market assets, packaging, photography, and brand storytelling. • Collaborate with Finance to build financial targets and ensure initiatives deliver desired ROI / ROAS results. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. • 8+ years of experience in brand management, product management, or category management. • Demonstrated success managing consumer brands, preferably in outdoor products, sporting goods, or consumer durables. • Strong financial acumen, including experience setting pricing and margin strategies. • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally (up to 25% of the year). • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
