Identify and engage prospects in automotive or consumer electronics sectors to qualify leads and support early business development through outreach and CRM management.
Entry-level experience in automotive or consumer electronics domains, proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM tools, strong communication and curiosity, and ability to work remotely part-time.
Part-time Market Analyst – Customer Discovery (2 positions) Domains: • Automotive & Trucking • Consumer Electronics (laptops, memory, workstations, etc.) Commitment: ~10 hours / week Location: 100% remote About Fusion Dynamics Fusion Dynamics is developing solid-state plasma actuators that move air using electric fields, bringing aerospace-grade flow control into everyday electronics. Our technology replaces conventional fans with a silent, ultra-thin ionic airflow module that uses about one third of the power, has no moving parts, and can be integrated directly onto heat sinks, cold plates, or chassis walls. Originating from plasma flow control research in Oxford, our platform uses carefully shaped electrodes and high-voltage waveforms to generate smooth, directed jets of air. This enables precise, fast control of airflow and significantly improves thermal performance in laptops, workstations, edge AI systems, and dense networking hardware. You can learn more about us at www.fusiondynamicscorporation.com. The Role We are looking for two part-time Market Analysts to support our customer discovery and early business development: • Market Analyst – Automotive & Trucking • Market Analyst – Consumer Electronics Your primary mission is to find and engage relevant prospects, understand their needs, and help convert promising conversations into intro/sales calls with the Fusion Dynamics team. You will work mainly through LinkedIn Sales Navigator (or equivalent tools) and maintain a structured CRM pipeline of contacts and insights. This is a hands-on, outreach-focused role: you will be talking to real people in the target industries, testing hypotheses about our value proposition, and feeding those learnings back into our go-to-market strategy. What You’ll Do • Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator (or equivalent) to: • Identify and segment relevant companies and decision-makers in your domain (automotive & trucking or consumer electronics). • Build targeted prospect lists based on our ideal customer profiles. • Send personalized outreach messages to prospects to: • Understand their current thermal management / cooling challenges. • Explore where fanless or improved airflow solutions could add value. • Qualify their level of interest and potential fit with Fusion Dynamics. • Convert conversations into calls: • Nurture promising leads and propose intro/sales calls with Fusion Dynamics. • Coordinate basic scheduling and handover to the core team. • Maintain and update our CRM: • Track companies, contacts, stages, and outcomes. • Log key learnings, objections, and market signals from conversations. • Provide market insights: • Summarize recurring patterns in customer needs, language, and objections. • Suggest refinements to messaging, target segments, and value propositions. • Collaborate closely with the founders/technical team to align on priorities and iterate quickly. What We’re Looking For Must-haves • Experience in one of the two target domains: • Role 1: Automotive & trucking (OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, thermal systems, or related hardware). • Role 2: Consumer electronics (laptops, memory modules, workstations, edge AI hardware, networking equipment, or similar). • Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or a comparable prospecting/outreach tool. • Comfort working with a CRM (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, or similar) to track leads and interactions. • Excellent written and spoken English, with clear, concise, professional communication. • Strong curiosity and listening skills: you enjoy asking questions, understanding problems, and translating them into actionable insights. • Organized and self-directed: able to manage your time and pipeline with a ~10 h/week commitment in a fully remote setting. Nice-to-haves • Experience in B2B customer discovery, early-stage sales, or business development for technical products. • Familiarity with thermal management, heat sinks, or cooling technologies in electronics or vehicles. • Previous work with hardware startups or deep-tech companies. Role Details • Type: Part-time Market Analyst (Customer Discovery) • Hours: ~10 hours per week • Location: 100% remote • Openings: 2 (one focused on automotive & trucking, one on consumer electronics) How to Apply Please send: • Your CV or LinkedIn profile • A short note on: • Which role you’re applying for (Automotive & Trucking or Consumer Electronics) • Your experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM tools • One or two brief examples of outreach or customer discovery work you’ve done to andrea.bari@fusiondynamicscorporation.com with the subject line: “Part-time Market Analyst – [Automotive/Consumer Electronics] – Your Name”.
