JOB DESCRIPTION As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of innovative AI applications, services, and tools. You will leverage your extensive experience in applying AI/ML to drive business value, thrive in our fast-paced environment, and contribute to the advancement of emerging technologies. Your past experience in digital media and video will be instrumental in building dynamic workflows and orchestrations for both live and VOD (Video on Demand) content. Your expertise in multi-cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, and Databricks will be crucial in our distributed computing landscape. We work on cutting edge projects using AI that includes building conversational agents using LLMs, generating automatic highlights, contextualizing videos and articles at scale, driving live storytelling, powering bleeding edge consumer products and features. ABOUT YOU Balanced Skill Set: Ability to assess and understand complex systems quantitatively and qualitatively, coupled with high emotional intelligence (EQ) to act as a product ambassador. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Design and implement novel and scalable AI solutions for real business problems. Design and implement workflows to generate and manage assets for live streaming and VOD. Build workflow orchestrations that can be readily extended to perform new analyses. Prototype new approaches and productionize solutions at scale for hundreds of millions of active users. Maintain high-level craftsmanship while delivering meaningful results. Mentor junior engineers on the team. Collaborate with peers, engineering leadership, and product management. WHAT YOU WILL NEED Experience working in Software Engineering, Data Science, ML Engineering. Strong background in live media streaming and handling VOD content. Expertise in working with live media streaming. Experience working with Vector Database. Strong understanding of generative AI technologies and their underlying mechanisms Good grasp of distributed system design. Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch etc. REST or GraphQL API Design Experience. Proficient with building batch and streaming data pipelines on cloud platforms. NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER Analyzing broadcast, VOD, and digital streaming video at scale Creating an SDK for use in Jupyter Notebooks Proficiency in programming languages like Python and Java. Familiarity with AWS and GCP. Bonus Points For: Experience with CI/CD tools & Infrastructure as code Relevant academic work or research in AI/ML, software engineering, or related fields. Have a deep understanding of multiple sports. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $143,000.00-180,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
