Visit us online: oneforefront.com Shift Available: 1st Shift Pay Rate: $18/hr Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on buildings and equipment. This role requires hands-on skills across multiple trades—including painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and basic electrical work. Tasks may include replacing electrical receptacles, repairing sinks and toilets, patching minor wall damage, replacing damaged flooring, installing locks, and conducting routine maintenance on equipment and machinery. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and repair machines, mechanical equipment, and facilities • Troubleshoot and fix minor electrical issues (per state and local requirements) • Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections • Plan repair work using blueprints or diagrams • Upkeep buildings and property to ensure safe, functional spaces • Order and manage supplies and parts as needed • Keep accurate maintenance records • Identify when specialized trades are required and escalate appropriately Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED • 0–2 years of maintenance/facilities experience preferred (training provided) • Basic knowledge of hand & power tools and safe work practices • Ability to read work orders and follow directions • Strong communication and customer service skills • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, bend, and walk for extended periods • Valid drivers license • Must demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and be patient and tolerant toward residents, staff, and visitors. This role is ideal for someone with strong practical skills who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in keeping facilities safe, clean, and fully operational.
