Role and Responsibilities of Retail Service Associate: Being a part of the Five Below team means you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer care and supporting the daily operations of the store to create a fun and inviting shopping environment. • Greet and aid clients promptly with a cheerful and customer-focused attitude. • Provide insights on products, advise on choices, and offer problem-solving approaches tailored to customers needs. • Enhance customer interaction by publicizing store events, promotions, and activities to prompt engagement. • Politely acknowledge and resolve customer problems, proposing alternatives when applicable. • Transmit details regarding restocked items and customer input to the management team. • Collaborate collectively with the team for the attainment of store and company objectives. Qualifications for Retail Service Associate: • In order to take part, individuals must be at least 16 years of age. • Being available during evenings, weekends, and holidays showcases flexibility. • Experienced in utilizing and mastering technology like cash registers and portable devices. • Excellent at both customer service and communication competencies. • Capability to promptly tackle issues with professionalism and expertise. • Enthusiasm for acquiring new abilities through training while on duty. Essential Job Functions of Retail Service Associate: • Conduct transactions and operate a cash register for customer purchases. • Maneuver and stack merchandise that weighs a maximum of 25 pounds and reach shelves that are 10 feet tall. • Scale ladders, bend, twist, and lean over while replenishing inventory and providing customer service. • Connect directly and via telephone calls with customers, coworkers, and managers. • Move back and forth between sales areas and stock storage locations. • Retain your focus and remain standing for an extended period. • Demonstrate the ability to be flexible in terms of scheduling, potentially including working overnight.
