Role and Responsibilities of Retail Sales Assistant: As an employee at Five Below, your main focus will be on providing excellent customer service and helping with store operations to ensure a pleasant and welcoming shopping experience. • Offer prompt and welcoming support to customers with a helpful approach. • Possess expertise in product details, advise on selections, and deliver resolutions to meet customer requirements. • Foster customer engagement by marketing store events, promotions, and activities to encourage participation. • Approach customer inquiries with courtesy, offering substitutes if necessary. • Report on the replenishment of products and feedback from customers to the higher-ups. • Engage in teamwork to meet the store and company goals effectively. Qualifications for Retail Sales Assistant: • The minimum age requirement for involvement is 16 years old. • Flexible scheduling, encompassing evenings, weekends, and holidays, is a must. • Capable and at ease with employing technology such as registers and mobile devices. • Demonstrates expertise in communication and customer service proficiency. • Ability to swiftly and expertly address and resolve matters in a professional manner. • Willing to learn by gaining experience while working. Essential Job Functions of Retail Sales Assistant: • Manage financial transactions at the point of sale and handle customer payments. • Carry and categorize items with a weight limit of 25 pounds and store them on shelves that are as high as 10 feet. • Climb up ladders and perform bending, twisting, and stooping maneuvers when restocking goods and attending to customers. • Collaborate through face-to-face and telephonic conversations with clients, team members, and supervisors. • Frequently navigate between the sales floor and storage rooms. • Continue to concentrate and stay in an erect position for long periods. • Show readiness to adjust your timetable to include overnight shifts as necessary.
