Overview Join our dynamic team as a Janitor and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all. This energetic position offers the opportunity to contribute to the overall cleanliness and upkeep of commercial, residential, or industrial facilities. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for executing a variety of custodial tasks that ensure spaces are hygienic, organized, and visually appealing. Your dedication will help create a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors alike. Duties • Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. • Conduct routine trash removal and waste disposal to uphold cleanliness standards. • Use specialized equipment for floor care and industrial cleaning to ensure surfaces are well-maintained. • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas by sanitizing surfaces and fixtures. • Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs to support facilities upkeep. • Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly. • Support additional custodial duties such as window washing, carpet cleaning, or painting as needed to enhance facility appearance. Qualifications • Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, residential, or industrial settings. • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general sanitation practices. • Experience with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies is preferred. • Ability to work independently with attention to detail and efficiency. • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. • Excellent time management skills to prioritize daily tasks effectively. • Nice-to-have skills include residential painting experience or additional facilities maintenance expertise.
