About Us The Lux Agency is a Los Angeles–based property management and hospitality company specializing in luxury short-term rentals. We manage over 40 homes across the city and pride ourselves on providing seamless operations and 5-star guest experiences. Position Overview We’re seeking a dependable and versatile Assistant Property Manager / Handyman who is comfortable managing both hospitality and operational duties. This in-person position is ideal for someone local to Los Angeles who enjoys driving between properties, conducting inspections, handling light maintenance, and helping with office coordination. You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring our homes are guest-ready, well-maintained, and operating smoothly. Key Responsibilities • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure homes meet company standards. • Drive to various properties across Los Angeles for check-ins, maintenance visits, and cleanings. • Manage guest communications via Airbnb, Vrbo, and other booking platforms. • Coordinate cleaning schedules and support the team with daily operations. • Handle light repairs and maintenance (painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance troubleshooting, etc.). • Respond to urgent property or guest issues promptly and professionally. • Assist with basic office and administrative work (inventory tracking, scheduling, reporting). • Communicate effectively with guests, vendors, and the internal management team. Requirements • Must live in Los Angeles with a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. • Prior experience with Airbnb co-hosting or short-term rental management. • Hands-on maintenance or handyman experience. • Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. • Comfortable speaking with guests and team members. • Basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting. • Spanish speaking is a plus. Preferred Skills • Experience maintaining or managing Airbnb/short-term rentals. • Ownership of basic tools and equipment. • Familiarity with property management software or booking platforms. Compensation & Schedule • Competitive pay based on experience. • Flexible schedule, with weekend and evening availability for urgent repairs or turnovers.
