Description: FIC America Corp. is a global Tier 1 automotive components manufacturer centrally located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. We are actively seeking a Stamping Team Leader to supervise and coordinate the production, welding, and activities under the direction of the Supervisor. Essential Job Functions • Oversee activities of production and operating employees under the direction of the Supervisor • Plan and maintain work schedules, assignments, and production sequences • Direct and assign tasks and duties under the direction of the Supervisor • Train and develop team members to perform job duties according to company procedures and policies for safety and accuracy • Interpret work orders, specifications, and company policies and procedures for employees • Assist with and perform work activities as necessary to maintain work flow • Enforce safety and sanitation regulations • Evaluate performance and report them to Supervisors and Managers • Address reports from employees, and report them to Supervisors and Managers • Follow standard work instructions • Perform other duties as assigned Other Job Functions • Comply with FIC’s Safety policies and procedures • Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards • Perform 5-S activities Requirements: • 2+ years of leadership experience • 2 + years of experience within a stamping/press manufacturing operation • Must be able to speak and read basic English to comply with position, Safety, Plant & PPE procedures & requirements • Must be willing to cross-train • Must be able to work company’s required overtime • Must comply with FIC’s Attendance and Punctuality Policy Pay Range $21/hour - $25/hour based on qualifications and experience Additional Compensation We operate two shifts and 2nd Shift employees are given a $1/hour shift differential Benefits Offered • Medical plans offered through Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Delta Dental, and VSP Vision • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Healthcare FSA, Dependent Care FSA, and Transit FSA • 401(k) – Company will match 50% of the first 6% you contribute to your 401(k) • Basic Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability paid by employer • Optional Supplemental Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability (Employee Paid) • Vacation, Holiday, and Personal Days Paid About FIC America Corp. A Japanese owned manufacturer of stamped and welded products, supplying the automotive industry with performance auto parts, related to emissions, fuel, and exhaust. Stamping Components - We utilize numerous stamping presses ranging from 150 tons to 2500 tons. This includes Blanking, Manual, and Transfer presses.
