We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mechanic Helper to support mechanics and repair technicians in a busy shop and field environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning mechanical skills, and working in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities • Assist mechanics with vehicle and equipment inspections, repairs, and basic maintenance • Help with material handling, tool setup, and shop/worksite preparation • Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively • Support with tasks such as oil changes, part replacements, tire work, and diagnostic prep • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area • Follow safety procedures and shop protocols • Perform general labor tasks as needed Requirements • Prior mechanical or automotive experience preferred (but not required) • Comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well on a team • Willing to work indoors, outdoors, under vehicles, or in tight spaces • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
