Our client, a leading organization in the cybersecurity industry, is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to join their team. As a Senior SOC Analyst, you will be part of the Security Operations Center supporting incident response, threat analysis, and security monitoring. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title:Senior SOC Analyst Location:Remote Pay Range: What's the Job? • Provide shift leadership and operational support within the SOC environment. • Mentor and oversee junior analysts, guiding intrusion event investigations. • Monitor security events across various SIEMs and security feeds, including email, phone, and chat systems. • Analyze threat events, review escalations, and ensure incident reports are accurate and complete. • Develop, review, and improve security incident response procedures and playbooks. What's Needed? • 5-6 years of hands-on experience working in a SOC or related cybersecurity field. • Experience with Azure environment investigations and ensuring compliance with best practices. • Proficiency with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools and SIEM/log management systems. • Knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, and routing protocols. • Certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, GIAC, GCIH, GNFA, or GDAT are preferred but not mandatory.
