Sales Representative (Industrial Projects Design & Project Management) - Freelance Location: Remote within Europe (preference: Germany, France, Belgium) Contract: Freelance / Part-time (10–20 hours per week to start) Travel: Occasional client visits in Europe (travel reimbursed) Start: As soon as possible About the Company Our client is a European engineering consultancy specialised in industrial project design and project management. With expertise in refrigeration, HVAC and electrical engineering, mechanical systems, and technical design solutions. The company supports industrial projects across Europe in delivering high-quality engineering services. The organisation is operating in Bulgaria, Belgium, Portugal, and Armenia and expanding its presence in Western and Central Europe and is looking for an experienced, relationship-driven Freelance Sales Representative to strengthen its commercial pipeline and client portfolio. The Freelance Sales Representative will drive business development activities across Europe, targeting industrial clients in sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, food & beverage, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and related industries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys independent, project-based work and has a strong understanding of technical or engineering services. The role offers significant flexibility and autonomy — ideal for someone already consulting or freelancing. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales • Identify and approach potential industrial clients across Europe, with a focus on Belgium, Germany, and France. • Present the company’s design and project management capabilities in refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, and industrial engineering. • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, discovery, proposal coordination, negotiation, and closing. • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate customer needs into clear technical scopes. • Develop Business Strategy - 12-month roadmap, structure & communication approach • partnership strategy Relationship Management • Build long-term trusted relationships with industrial stakeholders (plant managers, engineering leads, operations managers, etc.). • Build long-term trusted relationships with partnership companies • Follow up on proposals and maintain an active sales pipeline. • Serve as the connecting point between the customer and the engineering teams. Market & Strategy • Track trends in industrial construction, energy-efficiency upgrades, retrofits, and outsourced project management. • Identify opportunities for market expansion (new sectors, geographies, or service lines). • Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline development, and market feedback. • Recommendations about the company profile, the service packages, and the Website structure, • LinkedIn communication plan Requirements Professional Background • 5+ years of proven B2B sales experience in engineering, industrial, construction, or technical service sectors. • Experience selling services such as industrial design, engineering, refrigeration, HVAC/electrical systems, or project management is highly desirable. • Previous freelance/independent consulting experience is an advantage. Skills & Competencies • Strong technical understanding combined with commercial drive. • Ability to work autonomously and manage all sales stages independently. • Excellent communication skills in English; German or French is a strong advantage. • Comfortable delivering online presentations and technical discussions with clients. • Structured approach to pipeline building and lead management.
