They are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager/Sr Project Manager to lead the deployment of electric vehicle charging stations across various sites, managing all phases of construction projects to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards. Responsibilities • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for EV charging station installations. • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and local authorities to ensure smooth execution. • Oversee site assessments, utility coordination, and civil/electrical construction activities. • Serve as the primary construction point of contact for project stakeholders including site hosts, municipalities, and vendors. • Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies effectively to leadership and partners. • Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. • Enforce safety standards and conduct regular site inspections. • Monitor, update, and maintain accurate project schedules and ensure schedule adherence by all assigned team members. • Monitor construction quality and ensure installations meet technical specifications and performance standards. • Manage punch lists and ensure timely resolution of deficiencies. • Track project costs and manage change orders. • Review and approve invoices • Optimize resource allocation and identify cost-saving opportunities. Skills • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience. • Strong understanding of electrical systems, permitting processes, utility coordination, and project scheduling. • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Site Tracker, MS Project, Excell). • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. • PMP or similar certification is a plus. • Experience with EV charging technologies and standards • Familiarity with NEC, ADA, and environmental regulations.
