The Lead Medical Assistant oversees daily clinical operations to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. Responsibilities include: • Rooming patients • Taking vital signs • Performing point-of-care testing • Administering medications per protocol • Performing X-rays • Assisting providers with procedures. This role also provides leadership to the MA team by training new staff, coordinating schedules, maintaining clinical workflows, monitoring inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and infection-control standards. The Lead MA serves as a key resource for troubleshooting, supports patient experience initiatives, and helps maintain smooth clinic flow throughout each shift.
