Overview We are seeking a dependable and organized Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with various office management tools. This role operates from our local office, with flexibility for off-site work where operationally appropriate. Prior office experience, familiarity with software such as Microsoft Office, and bilingual capabilities are highly valued. The Office Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining an efficient office environment and providing top-tier support to staff and clients alike. Duties • Support staff with administrative tasks as needed. • Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other computer skills for report generation, correspondence, and scheduling • Assist with calendar management and appointment scheduling for staff and clients • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries promptly via phone or email • Maintain organized records of client information, invoices, and other administrative documents • Support personal assistant tasks such as travel arrangements or special project coordination as needed • Ensure office supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained properly • Uphold professional phone etiquette while managing incoming calls on multi-line systems Qualifications • Previous administrative or office experience is an asset. • Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, data entry, and general office software • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively • Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette; bilingual abilities are highly desirable • Previous experience in customer service or customer support roles preferred • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail • Personal assistant or office management experience is advantageous • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in administrative support or related fields are beneficial Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off Work Location: In person
