Responsibilities: - Perform order fulfillment tasks, including picking, packing, and shipping of products - Operate reach trucks and cherry pickers to move and stack inventory - Assist warehouse supervisor in managing inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock counts - Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing of products for customer delivery, while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion - Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks - Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment - Deliver material to multiple stores overnight Skills: - Proficient in order fulfillment processes and procedures - Experience operating reach trucks and cherry pickers - Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required -Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment Position spends a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing -Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus -Able to identify products by size, type, style, color, or product code - Must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked - Delivery driving Job Description: Supports the day to day operations of the Branch providing order and delivery services. Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion. Support warehouse operations by transporting materials over designated routes; ensuring safe operation of vehicles. Provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of orders. Ensure that material loaded on the truck is as listed on the Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest and is secured for safe transport from store to destination. Unload materials for customers at each delivery location in an orderly fashion while verifying that material is correct based on the Ship Ticket. Perform daily detailed inspection of vehicle to ensure general maintenance and safety of vehicle. Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing products for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion. This is a safety-sensitive position, the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative. Candidates offered employment must undergo a pre-employment drug test. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred. Able to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code. Must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked. Basic math skills and reasoning skills. Certification of power-truck equipment. Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices. Valid Driver's License in state of residence with 3 years driving history. Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record with no type A violation; or no more than (1) type B violation in past (3) years. A minimum of 1 year of driving experience within the past 36 months, operating a commercial motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 10,001 lbs. or more preferred. Physical Requirements: This is a safety sensitive position therefore the ability to work in a constant state of alert and in a safe manner is imperative.Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment Position spends a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing. Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
