Our client, a leader in commercial real estate, is seeking a dependable and professional Facilities Coordinator to support daily operations within a busy facilities environment in San Jose, CA. This is a full-time, onsite role operating Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. This position starts as a 4-month contract opportunity and pays $27-30 per hour based on experience. This position focuses heavily on coordinating technical vendors, managing quotes, and supporting building engineers through consistent communication and administrative follow-through. The Facilities Coordinator will handle a high volume of email and phone interactions while ensuring vendors move smoothly through required processes. This opportunity is ideal for a Facilities Coordinator with a technical background, strong communication skills, and experience working in fast-paced, service-oriented environments. Key Responsibilities of a Facilities Coordinator • Work closely with building engineers to gather quotes and enter them into internal systems • Coordinate technical vendors, ensuring proper documentation and process compliance • Manage a high volume of emails and phone calls each day • Track and update work orders, quotes, and vendor activity • Support administrative needs related to facilities operations • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for daily communication and documentation Facilities Coordinator Qualifications • Prior related experience; not seeking entry-level candidates • Technical background with strong administrative and communication skills • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Preferred Skills for a Facilities Coordinator • Experience working with vendors or contractors • Previous experience as a Facilities Coordinator or in a similar role Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
