Job Title: Carrier Partnerships Location: Duluth (United States) Hybrid 3days in office Industry: IoT Connectivity, Telecom, Wireless, Enterprise Technology Salary: $110-140K + variable bonus/commission Overview Edison Smart are partnered with a rapidly scaling IoT connectivity and activation platform is seeking a Strategic Alliance Sales Manager to lead and grow partnerships with major telecom carrier teams. This role is central to supporting IoT connectivity sales, accelerating device activation workflows, and driving adoption of a multi-carrier lifecycle management platform used by enterprise customers. You will act as a strategic partner to carrier Enterprise and Wholesale teams helping them win more IoT deals, guiding activation pathways, and enabling seamless expansion into lifecycle automation solutions. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with deep carrier ecosystem experience and strong co-selling capability. Key Responsibilities • Build and grow relationships with telecom carrier Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, Partner Managers, and leadership teams. • Support carrier sellers by identifying IoT opportunities, providing scoping guidance, and joining customer calls to help advance deals. • Deliver demos and position the company’s multi-carrier lifecycle management platform as a natural extension of IoT connectivity sales. • Drive increased referral flow and improve funnel conversions from lead → activation → platform adoption. • Optimize lead routing, follow-up processes, and activation workflows to reduce friction and accelerate enterprise deployments. • Maintain accurate reporting, pipeline visibility, and forecasting across carrier-driven opportunities. • Capture insights from carrier teams and contribute to playbooks for expansion into additional carrier ecosystems. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in telecom carrier sales, IoT connectivity, channel partnerships, or strategic alliances. • Strong understanding of how telecom carriers sell IoT connectivity, activations, and enterprise solutions. • Proven experience co-selling with carrier sales teams (Enterprise, Wholesale, or Solutions Engineering). • Ability to clearly communicate and simplify technical IoT concepts for both carrier teams and enterprise buyers. • Experience managing partner-led sales cycles and supporting enterprise customer deployments. • Exceptional relationship-building and influence skills in large, matrixed environments. • Highly organized, proactive, and effective in fast-paced, growth-stage environments.
