EBC Brakes USA, Inc. is a Las Vegas based distribution company specializing in aftermarket friction distribution and light manufacturing of both automotive and motorcycle brakes, and related components. EBC Brakes is a world leader in the manufacturing and distribution of brake pads and rotors for over 99% of vehicles on the road today, along with motorcycle and power sports brakes, rotors, clutches, jets and brake fluids. Job title: Warehouse Associate Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor Overall purpose of the job: Responsible for performing warehouse associate duties. These duties may include receiving inbound product and shipping outbound product. Other assigned warehouse duties will include picking, packing and checker duties. Key activities: • Standing, walking 10 hours a day is standard • Retrieving or transporting product to and from shelves either for storage or shipment; efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars or trailers. • Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation. • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and SDS Standards. Must be able to reach above and below with hands to remove required product from the bin. • Good communication skills necessary for proper execution of duties which include constant contact with team lead and manager to select proper product requested on order. Must quickly develop proficiency with in-house order scanners. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: • Must wear proper protective equipment to include gloves and steel toe shoes • Must be able to provide own transportation; if parking at EBC parking lot you will be required to have driver’s license, car registration and insurance EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION • Experience as a Warehouse associate in a distribution center environment. • Possess good math and literacy skills • Previous experience with SAGE MAS 100 and Scanco preferred but not essential, training will be provided WORKING CONDITIONS Must be eligible to work in the USA and provide documentation to support this. Working conditions are normal for a warehouse environment, with moderate noise. EBC t-shirts provided and we offer free on-site parking. Normal hours of work will be Monday-Thursday 6.00am-4:30pm, 6:30am - 5:00pm with 30 minutes for lunch and 2 ten minutes breaks. Total 40 hours per week. Position Holders need to be flexible with working hours, as may be required to work overtime and occasional weekends (for stock taking and during exceptionally busy periods). Position reports to the Warehouse Lead and the Warehouse Supervisor; works closely with and alongside other Warehouse Associates. Immediate hire. All applications must be include a full Resume.
