5-10 years commercial/business development experience in polymer compounds and specialty additives, BS degree in business or engineering, strong sales and negotiation skills, CRM proficiency, and ability to travel extensively.
DuPont Multibase division is an industry leader providing high-performance solutions to engineers and designers in the transportation, industrial and packaging markets to enable material systems solutions. The business offers a broad high-performance elastomers and Specialty masterbatches solutions portfolio for all industries, with some focus on transportation, wire & cable, films. Multibase is seeking a Key Account Manager for Specialty Masterbaches (SiMB) and plastics compounds based in the USA. Specialty Masterbatches encompass a wide range of silicone-based additives and masterbatches to enhance the properties and processability of popular thermoplastic resins. The Account Manager will have a focus on new Business Development to operate across US and Canada, targeting new and existing customers as well as partnering with key channel partners to drive growth. The successful candidate will sell both specialty and more standard thermoplastic products and thus possess both a strong technical aptitude and excellent commercial acumen.This role reports to the AMS Sales Director for the Adhesives and Fluids and Multibase business. Location: Flexible but Detroit, MI and Akron, OH preferred for team collaboration. Travel: Significant travel (amount TBD) in the region.
