Overview In joining Dragonfly, you’ll be directly supporting one of our General Partners, Rob Hadick, as an Executive Assistant, as well as managing a beautiful office space in the heart of New York City. Rob, who’s well-known in the space, has a relaxed demeanor and is excited to collaborate while affording you ownership. You may also provide back-up support for another one of our General Partners, Tom Schmidt. You’ll also interface directly with many of the biggest crypto companies and token projects, world-renowned PE and VC investors, and founders of large public tech and finance companies. You should be comfortable with flexible and entrepreneurial work environments, love interacting with people just as much as you love driving projects, and be looking to deepen your career in high-level executive and operational support. Functional Responsibilities • Support one of Dragonfly’s General Partners, Rob Hadick, as an Executive Assistant, including managing calendars, developing/booking meetings and itineraries, and managing expenses for the Investment Team • Drive management of Dragonfly’s new New York City office, including coordinating with vendors (e.g., snacks, IT, cleaners, security, etc), greeting visitors, and managing office and equipment inventory • Manage occasional events (both local and abroad): venue selection, vendor management, and on-site coordination • Special projects as needed (e.g., researching and pulling together policies, managing filing, helping choose appropriate software) Requirements • 2-5+ years experience as an Executive Assistant • Based in NYC and able to work in-office Mon-Thurs; occasional evening hours required; comfortable navigating local restaurants, venues, and services • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, pattern recognition, and project management skills, with equally exceptional work ethic • Strong judgment when dealing with senior founders, LPs, and executives • Self-accountability and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment; and own, fix, and learn from failures • “No task too big or too small” attitude • Innate drive to go above and beyond by default • Ability to interact across cultures and businesses • Strong ethical code Preferred • Prior experience managing business and/or office operations, events • Experience at an asset management company (e.g., PE, VC, hedge fund) or bank • Bachelor's degree Benefits • Highly competitive salary and bonus (commensurate to experience; not bound by listed range) • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Annual phone plan reimbursement • Laptop and equipment provided • Flexible PTO: Take time when you need it (and we mean it) • Annual team and company off-sites • Ability to personally invest in our venture and/or liquid funds without fees Note: The general salary range for this role is $100k-140k + ~10-20% performance bonus, although we will pay commensurate to experience.
