Position Overview: We’re looking for a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Urgent Care team. You’ll assist providers in delivering quality patient care, perform basic medical procedures, and support front-office tasks in a fast-paced clinic environment. Skills desired for our Medical Assistants: Patient registration/EMR Insurance verification Familiar with simple computer tasks and Microsoft Vitals EKG Proficient in venipuncture and injections Collecting urine specimens and preparing for LAB send-outs In office testing including FLU, strep and pregnancy testing Prepare for suturing Sterilization, etc. Knowledge of clinical procedures, medical anatomy, and physiology Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Tuition reimbursement • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
