Account Representative – Ohio Attorney General Account Collections DITCHEY GEIGER, LLC Attorneys at Law 8:30am – 5pm Monday through Friday (No late nights or weekends) Middleburg Hts Location – FREE PARKING We are looking for smart, dedicated, reliable, hard working individual to work on state debt files assigned by the Ohio Attorney General. Most files relate to Sales Tax, Use Tax, Withholding Tax, Department of Transportation, or Bureau of Worker’s Compensation. The ideal candidate will be motivated to make a commitment to learning, growing, and contributing in a competitive yet cooperative environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to move quickly and effectively through accounts are a must. To work on Attorney General files the candidate cannot have any outstanding debt owed to the State of Ohio. Your responsibilities will include: - Learning and understanding the Ohio state laws related to the taxes and debts assigned to our office - Effectively communicating with debtors regarding the tax or other state debt owed - Communicating the attorneys and accountants representing the debtor - Contacting parties by phone for the purpose of resolving outstanding accounts - Negotiating payment plans and settlements - Communicating the representatives and assistant attorney generals at the Attorney General Office - Properly updating the file notes - Working on the Attorney General sites (Client View, Payment Portal) - Managing an assigned queue of accounts to client specifications - Updating individual demographic profiles and skip tracing - Projecting monthly production outcomes - Maintaining a respectful, professional approach at all times Adam Rich 216-348-9700 Ext 206 Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $15.00 per hour Work Location: In person
