Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations for complex K-12 and public works construction projects in the Sacramento region. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can manage large project teams, uphold the highest safety and quality standards, and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and design partners. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee all field operations from preconstruction through project closeout for assigned projects. • Manage day-to-day site activities, including scheduling, sequencing, manpower, and logistics. • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and schedule requirements. • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve field issues and maintain progress. • Lead and mentor field staff, including superintendents, foremen, and trades. • Participate in preconstruction planning and constructability reviews. • Maintain accurate documentation, daily reports, and as-built records. • Foster positive relationships with owners, school districts, and public agencies. Qualifications: • Minimum 10+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent role. • Proven track record managing ground-up and modernization projects within K-12 or public works sectors. • Strong knowledge of DSA processes, state and local building codes, and public contracting requirements. • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project). • OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain). • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams concurrently.
