We are hiring an experienced Construction Scheduler to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining schedules for K-12 school construction projects, municipal developments, and commercial projects. The Scheduler will ensure accurate timelines, efficient resource allocation, and on-time project delivery. Key Responsibilities • Develop, update, and manage detailed construction schedules using MS Project (Primavera P6 experience a plus). • Oversee scheduling functions for multiple K-12, municipal, and commercial construction projects in the Fort Worth area. • Collaborate with project managers, construction superintendents, and field teams to gather project information and constraints. • Monitor progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track. • Review and analyze change orders for schedule impacts and adjust baseline schedules as needed. • Conduct regular job-site walks to verify progress and update schedules accordingly. • Prepare and deliver schedule reports, updates, and risk assessments to stakeholders. • Implement and enforce construction scheduling standards and best practices across projects. • Facilitate schedule review meetings and provide guidance on scheduling software to project teams. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred). • 3–5 years of proven experience as a Construction Scheduler in K-12, municipal, or commercial construction projects. • Advanced proficiency in MS Project; experience with Primavera P6 highly desirable. • Strong knowledge of construction planning, project management, and CPM scheduling. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and provide solutions. • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across project teams. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Work Environment & Physical Requirements • Ability to perform site visits and walk construction projects in various weather conditions. • Must wear standard construction PPE (hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, safety-toed boots). • Prolonged periods working at a computer as well as occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, kneeling, and climbing. • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.
