Job Details Job Location: CA - Compton, CA Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $18.67 - $18.67 Hourly Description Diamond Mattress is a fourth generation, family-owned and operated company committed to handcrafting mattresses in the USA since 1946. We care about our customers, team members, and our products, focusing on quality, value, and promoting the importance of a good night’s sleep for your health. What we're looking for: Diamond Mattress is currently seeking a material handler to help in different departments using tools, while also inspecting the quality of products. Duties and Responsibilities: • Ability to read understand, and follow product construction instructions for components and schedules • Attaches / binds mattress components (foam, springs) • Prepares product for tape edge department • Monitors work for quality and sends mattresses for re-work when necessary • Maintain work station in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion • Follow all safety rules and guidelines • Assembly of Mattress Units Qualifications Job Requirements: • Basic ability to read, write, and understand English (Candidate will be tested) • Basic Math Skills (Candidate will be tested) • Communicates Clearly and Effectively • Good Hand and Eye Coordination. • Ability to lift, push and/or pull 50+lbs • Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach overhead to handle material at the workstation. • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk around the work station. • Follow All Safety Regulations Benefits Include: • Hourly Pay + Incentive • Health & Dental Insurance • Pension • Life Insurance • Paid Vacation, Sick, birthday, and Holidays NOTE: All candidates will be required to take a Drug Test and Physical Exam.
