Exciting Responsibilities: • Engage with patients to verify their information, gather medical history, and confirm their purpose of visit. • Efficiently enter patient information into our state-of-the-art EHR (EMA). • Guide patients through their visit, ensuring they are comfortable and prepared for examinations. • Assist physicians during medical exams and procedures, making each patient’s experience seamless. • Schedule medical procedures with precision and care. • Provide essential instructions on medication usage and ensure patients feel empowered in their treatment. • Handle a variety of clinical tasks, including wound care, phlebotomy, and lab specimen collection. • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring our medical supplies are always ready and available. • Receive one-on-one mentorship from our providers. Minimum Qualifications • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree. • Students interested in pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Pre-Med • A passion for patient care and a self-motivated spirit. • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations. • A collaborative team player ready to make a difference! Physical Demands • Standing or walking for extended periods of time. • Ability to periodically lift objects or equipment up to 35 lbs. • Moderate levels of pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead to prep exam rooms for patient visits as well as cleaning and sterilizing rooms after patient visits. • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). • Ability to hear normal conversation levels. • Hand dexterity.
