We are currently searching for trailer mechanics with tanker experience! Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM This position is for our North Salt Lake branch at 54 N 700 W. Pay Range: $24.00 to $41.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months. Demonstrated Skill In Most Of The Following Areas • The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer. • Tank service and repair • Trailer suspension installation and repair • Experience with air brake systems and repairs • Welding experience, aluminum or stainless (optional) • Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards Physical Demands • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds • With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds • Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole • Must be able to work in confined spaces DCI Benefits • Medical, dental and vision insurance • 401(k) with generous employer match • Paid time off, including 10 paid holidays • Optional health savings account & flexible spending account • Life insurance • Employee assistance program • Parental leave • Referral program • Tuition reimbursement • Tool purchase program • Effective and proven safety program • Resources to become a national board ASME certified welder
