Full Description

Position: Warehouse Worker Location: Dayton, NJ 08810 Client: Leading Tools Manufacturing Industry Duration: 3-month contract (may get extended) Pay: $18–$19/hr Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Job Responsibilities Receiving & Inspection • Unpack incoming customer shipments and prepare tools for the repair process. • Log all received items accurately using the SAP system (training provided). Shipping & Fulfillment • Prepare and package outbound shipments with correct documentation and labeling. • Complete Hazmat paperwork for UPS, FedEx, and LTL shipments. Inventory & Material Handling • Assist with warehousing and inventory of spare parts and packaging materials. • Organize and replenish packaging supplies to ensure availability. Workplace Organization & Safety • Maintain a clean and organized work environment following 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain). • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement using LEAN practices. Team Collaboration & Performance • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and support team performance goals/KPIs. • Participate in cross-functional tasks and other duties as needed. Warehouse Conditions • Temperature-controlled facility (air conditioning & heat). • Workshop environment may include noise, dust, and particles. Safety Equipment Required • Must follow all safety regulations as required by the client and OSHA. • Proper labeling and handling of hazardous materials required. • Must wear: • * Steel-toe boots • Safety glasses • Gloves • Any additional PPE required around machinery Physical Requirements • Regular lifting of 50+ lbs; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs. • Frequent standing, bending, and reaching. • Ability to climb ladders. • Ability to load/unload materials using warehouse equipment. Skills Required • Comfortable using computers and software tools. • Strong attention to detail. • Experience with power equipment (pallet jack, etc.). • Effective verbal communication. • Ability to work in a team and take responsibility for tasks. • Strong integrity, urgency, and willingness to innovate.
