(*Comscore, Total Visits, March 2025) Day to Day Understand Indeed’s data to help Marketing teams draw insights and improve decision making and efficiency across the organization. Create dashboards, visualizations, algorithms, and business tools for use across the organization. Code using Python for reports, dashboards, and visualizations. Use Python, Pandas, and Numpy to help stakeholders improve their performance. Design algorithms to decipher deeper why and how questions. Understand business stakeholders’ objectives and the metrics that are most important to them and how they measure performance. Turn business requirements into technical requirements. Find and understand the correct data sources for a given analysis. Advise teams on the adoption of advanced analytical solutions and explain complicated technical information to non-technical audiences. Present to and manage relationships with business partners at multiple levels of the organization. Learn from and share knowledge and skills with teammates to grow the Marketing Analytics team’s total impact to the organization. Position is in New York City, NY. Up to 100% telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. is permitted. Responsibilities Primary Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field; • Three years of industry experience in a report development, data science, business analytics, business intelligence, or comparable data engineering role using data warehousing and business intelligence tools and techniques; • Three years of experience programming with Python and using Pandas and Numpy to cleanse, manipulate, and present data; • Three years of experience with SQL; • Demonstrated experience writing complex, highly optimized queries across large volumes of data; • Demonstrated experience with reporting, descriptive statistics, probability, and cleaning big datasets; • Demonstrated experience with Tableau or similar tool to create impactful reports, visualizations, and interactive dashboards; • Demonstrated experience solving problems with quantitative data and visualizations; and • Demonstrated experience with ETL and data warehouse concepts and processes. Experience may be gained concurrently. Alternate Minimum Requirements: • Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field; • One year of industry experience in a report development, data science, business analytics, business intelligence, or comparable data engineering role using data warehousing and business intelligence tools and techniques; • One year of experience programming with Python and using Pandas and Numpy to cleanse, manipulate, and present data; • One year of experience with SQL; • Demonstrated experience writing complex, highly optimized queries across large volumes of data; • Demonstrated experience with reporting, descriptive statistics, probability, and cleaning big datasets; • Demonstrated experience with Tableau or similar tool to create impactful reports, visualizations, and interactive dashboards; • Demonstrated experience solving problems with quantitative data and visualizations; and • Demonstrated experience with ETL and data warehouse concepts and processes. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Multiple positions available. Salary Range Transparency Salary Range: $109,941 to $136,204 per year Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
