About the position Responsibilities • Evolve and advocate for Python language best practices across engineering teams. • Keep Datadog's Python ecosystem modern and efficient by researching and adopting relevant new language features, tools, and libraries. • Triage and resolve complex tooling or performance issues. • Build internal tools and automation to enhance Python developer productivity and confidence in making code changes. • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify developer pain points and deliver targeted improvements to the Python development workflow.
