Part time Tennis Shop/Retail Associate Overview The Tennis Shop/Retail Associate will play a vital and important role in the tennis shop operations and reports to the Director of Tennis. The selected candidate will very often be the initial person of contact for members and guests visiting the tennis shop. A warm and friendly personality and the ability to handle multiple projects at once are key candidate qualities. This position will be responsible for assisting with general merchandise and point of sale related tasks in the tennis shop. These duties include but are not limited to, assisting with tracking and managing our Special-Order system, answering the tennis shop phone, greeting and checking in members and guests, maintaining shop displays and overall shop appearance. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for organization and taking ownership of their targeted responsibilities. Must be a positive and engaging team player who promotes and executes exceptional customer service. Essential Responsibilities: • Answering the tennis shop phone, making tennis lesson times • Organize shop merchandise and maintain the organization of the shop • Operate POS system, ordering, receiving and processing of Special Orders. • Greet and assist members and guests • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality customer service. COMPENSATION: • Competitive hourly wage based on experience and knowledge • Meals while on duty EDUCATION REQUIRED: • High School Graduate
