Portfolio Administrator- Investment Management - Boston, MA We are seeking candidates for a Portfolio Administrator position to join an elite investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The Portfolio Administrator will be responsible for managing the discrepancies and exceptions through research, documentation and resolution working with external custodians and vendors as well as internal teams. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of investment operations experience. This is a direct-hire position that will pay a base salary of $60-70K (depending on experience) + bonus. All qualified candidates who are 100% remote will be considered. Responsibilities: • Enter and verify cash transactions in the portfolio accounting system. • Assist with maintaining security data and pricing to ensure accurate valuations and performance calculations. • Generate standard and ad hoc reports to support internal and external requests. • Support trade processing by monitoring trade details received from trading desks and coordinating with counterparties on settlement information. • Ensure accurate transmission of trade data to the accounting system and timely reporting of trade details to custodians. • Perform timely reconciliations of holdings and transactions between internal systems and custodian banks. • Track discrepancies and ensure accurate and prompt resolution. • Use internal systems to produce reconciliation reports for both internal teams and external stakeholders. • Manage relationships with vendors, custodians, and other institutions to maintain strong service quality and stay informed on industry and market changes. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. • 1 - 3 years of experience in investment operations (reconciliation experience strongly required). • Knowledge of fixed income and equity securities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage high email volume. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote/hybrid environment.
