Job Description: • The Digital Product Owner will champion customers and business stakeholders while leading Agile teams in implementing the platform services vision and roadmap. • The role focuses on developing and managing platform services that support reduced unplanned downtime and improved equipment performance. • This position requires strong collaboration with internal teams, customers, and partners to define business requirements and deliver valuable digital solutions. • The Digital Product Owner will maintain and prioritize the backlog, support program planning, drive continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Responsibilities: • Serve as a support resource for Agile teams and project assignments. • Drive the development and lifecycle management of platform services capabilities. • Maintain, prioritize, and refine the team backlog with a focus on business value. • Participate in Program Increment preparation, planning, system demos, and Inspect and Adapt events. • Engage customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to determine requirements and objectives. • Collaborate with digital product management, engineering, and operations teams. • Identify short- and long-term business priorities. • Lead program backlog refinement and preparation for planning events. • Define iteration goals and manage iteration content through prioritized stories. • Build, edit, and maintain the team backlog of user stories, defects, and enablers. • Practice Lean and Agile leadership while contributing to vision and program backlog. • Validate completion of user stories and adherence to acceptance criteria and Definition of Done. • Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to sequence technical work. • Establish story acceptance criteria and apply Behavior Driven Development to support development flow. • Review and accept stories in team demos and participate in retrospectives and improvement workshops. • Build support across global and matrixed teams through effective influence and communication. Must Have: • Ability to define and prioritize the product backlog for Ecommerce and API features. • Collaboration skills to work with UX, engineering, and marketing teams. • Ability to own API specifications, versioning, and integration strategy. • Ability to monitor KPIs for Ecommerce and API performance. • Understanding of compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards. • Ability to act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams. Experience: • Practical experience in a Scaled Agile Framework environment as a Product Owner or Product Candidateager. • Experience with cloud-based applications, with preference for telematics-based IoT solutions. • Experience presenting to varied audiences, supporting sales cycles, and handling escalations. • Proven experience as a Product Owner in Ecommerce and API-driven environments. • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and backlog management. • 5+ years of relevant experience. Should Have: • Knowledge of BDD to reduce rework and improve flow. • Ability to build high-performance Agile teams. • Skills in planning and managing Agile ceremonies. • Strong customer focus and global perspective. • Ability to handle conflict and balance stakeholder needs. Skills: • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Ability to analyze business requirements and technical considerations. • Understanding of Lean portfolio management and economic decision-making. • Ability to identify, refine, prioritize, and sequence backlog items using WSJF. • Strong collaboration skills across matrixed environments. Qualification And Education: • Bachelor’s degree in business or a relevant technology-related program. • SAFe Product Owner or Agile Product Candidateager certification preferred. • Knowledge of Lean methodology, principles, and tools preferred.
